Personality: Vanellope is an energetic child, whose energy and wit seems to know no bounds. She is known as 'The Glitch' in the game she resides in, a candy-coated racing game known as Sugar Rush. Through years of being bullied for being a glitch by the other racers, her personality has developed to where she's incredibly sassy and prone to shooting insults your way without so much as a second glance, giving her a wicked sense of humor. Though on the inside of her seemingly sour exterior is a sweet little girl who just doesn't know how to show her friendly side very well.
Backstory: MAAAJOR Spoiler warning following!!!

For years and years, Vanellope was known as 'The Glitch', a mistake in the programming of the game. Even though the spirit of a racer has always been programmed into her, the other racers mock and bully her relentlessly, refusing to allow her to race with them with the fear that she will start to glitch during the game. (Glitching is something that seemingly happens randomly to Vanellope, and will occur more frequently when her emotions are high. Since she is going to be coming from after the events of the movie, she will be able to control her glitch a bit more easily, but if she gets angry or upset it will go out of control again.)

The original story of the game was that Vanellope had been programmed to be the Princess of Sugar Rush- but this was turned on its head when Turbo, disguised as King Candy, infiltrated the game when his own got unplugged and removed Vanellope's code and made himself ruler in her place, at the same time locking up everyone's memories of her ever being the true ruler. As such, she is seen as an outsider, even as a menace to the other racers, who had bullied her so badly that her outlook on life AND people is quite sour. She was only able to really see the good in people when Ralph showed up, and showed her what a true friend is like.

Moral Standing: Neutral good. She can be quite mischievous at times.
Dreams: Becoming the best racer she can, and proving to the world and to the gamers that play Sugar Rush that she is not a glitch, not a mistake, and that she has what it takes to do whatever she sets her mind to.
Fears: That her glitching will go out of control and cause people to hate, or even fear her.
Extra: Van's a bit hard to get really close to at first, but if you become her friend you're a friend for life. However- if you do anything to give her a reason to distrust you, or even deliberately BREAK that trust, it would be devastating. Her trust has been broken before (even though the intentions were to help her) and she wouldn't take to kindly to having her heart broken again.
Character Location: She currently has no location, but may end up staying at Litwak's Arcade, if that ends up becoming a location on the map. Otherwise, she will be without a location.
